Our client is part of one of the largest port groups in the world. With more than two centuries of experience in port management, they have become a hallmark of excellence. As the preferred port operator in all world ports, our client is recognized for its service and successful partnerships.

They are currently looking for a PMO Portfolio Manager to drive their transformation to a "run and build PMO", in order to be better prepared for all challenges.

Function

As PMO Portfolio Manager:

  • You are responsible and accountable for leading and optimising all projects in your portfolio;
  • In collaboration with the Business Owners, you ensure portfolio roadmaps are always up-to-date;
  • You ensure that all plans, statuses and issues are visible and transparent for key stakeholders to consult;
  • You contribute to the overall analysis, reporting and budgeting process;
  • Support Business Owners in setting priorities and making decisions;
  • Organise regular business portfolio reviews and attend the portfolio board;
  • Monitor the data quality of the projects;
  • Support the Project Managers where necessary and in using the correct methodologies;
  • Report to the PMO Lead;
     
Profile
  • You preferably hold a Master's degree in Applied Economics, Civil Engineering, Commercial Engineering, IT, etc.
  • You have extensive experience in portfolio management with different methodologies (PMBoK, Prince II, SAFe Agile).
  • You have experience with Service Now ITBM or a similar project management tool.
  • You understand IT frameworks in a project context.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
  • You are result-oriented and enjoy having influence and impact.
  • You are a real leader and put team spirit and relationship building first.
  • You are highly communicative and have analytical and strategic thinking skills.
